About The Rocks

In The Rocks, take your eyes off the harbor and duck into the passages between stone facades. Stairs and lanes break up the direct route, with pubs, shops and outdoor tables between Circular Quay and the bridge.

The Gadigal presence predates the colonial buildings: the story of the place does not begin with European arrival. Markets add crafts and food when they are running, but a walk through the neighborhood holds up even without stalls set up in the streets.
