Venice Canals

Small bridges and narrow paths follow saltwater canals between homes of many styles; a residential walk very different from the boardwalk.

About Venice Canals

After the noise of the boardwalk, small bridges and water between the houses turn down the volume. The Venice Canals form a residential area with pedestrian paths, gardens and varied architecture. The connection to the Pacific, through Ballona Lagoon, explains the saltwater.

Doors, docks and gardens belong to someone: respect privacy when taking photos. The paths are narrow, which is why the local association asks visitors to walk their bikes and carry their skateboards. Save the speed for somewhere else.
