About Little Tokyo

In Little Tokyo, you set out looking for ramen and end up comparing sweets in a shop window. The neighborhood is a Japanese American cultural and community center in Downtown, with shops, restaurants and places of remembrance. Walk along First Street and Japanese Village Plaza without turning every store into a mission.

Fugetsu-Do is a local reference for trying mochi. If you want to add a museum or cultural program, check the calendar and cut another activity. Leave time to sit down for a meal and watch the streets.
