About Karlskirche

The columns in front of the Karlskirche tell a story in a spiral while the green dome holds the center of the composition. Take in the façade before you get closer. Inside, the altar, the curves and the frescoes high above put your neck to work on the visit.

The current route offers the organ loft and a terrace above the portal. That is not the same as the old elevator that brought visitors close to the frescoes, which guidebooks still mention. To lighten the morning, make only the outside stop and save your interior time for the Belvedere.
