About Quba Mosque

Pale domes and minarets mark Quba, tied to Muhammad's arrival in the region before he settled in the core of Medina. The building has been rebuilt and expanded; the meaning of the place does not depend on every wall being original.

Muslims can plan the visit around access and prayer times, checking for construction work. For non-Muslims, the itinerary replaces the stop with lunch and a park, without assuming permission to enter or move through the courtyards.
