About Taman Merdeka
Before the heat has you begging for air conditioning, head for the paths of Taman Merdeka. The park combines walking space with elements dedicated to Malayan independence, so the loop around the lake gives you more to talk about than a step count.
Come to watch everyday life in the park. It is a trip of its own, outside the historic core. Go early in the morning, and treat any extra activities as dependent on whether the recreational facilities are open.
