About Saraswati Temple

Between the street and the gateways, the lotus ponds change the scale of the visit. Notice the reflections on the stone, the carvings and the path. The complex, marketed as Ubud Water Palace, is dedicated to Saraswati, goddess of knowledge, literature and the arts.

This is not the Ubud Palace, which also appears in the itinerary. The visit covers the areas open to visitors within the religious site; ceremonies can change how you move around. The lotus bloom doesn't follow the calendar of your trip, either.
